What I’ve watched in 2017 and 2018

I wrote up some recommendations of what I’d watched in 2016 (Amazon, Netflix), so figured I might like to log my viewing habits better going forwards. And then didn’t get round to polishing it all into a blogpost.

I’ve not included some of the more obvious stuff that doesn’t really merit commentary — I don’t have much to say about The Great British Bake Off, for example, no matter how much I liked it, even without Mel and Sue — but I did want to share some of the things I enjoyed that other people might not have caught.

I managed to log the first 3 months pretty promptly but, after a big work project took up a bunch of my free time across summer, I didn’t keep to my plan of publishing “what I’ve watched” posts quarterly. So I figured it would make sense to group them thematically, rather than chronologically.
